David/Zil

I commissioned David/Zil a few weeks back for some portraits, three in total. The one pixel portrait (http://i.imgur.com/sq63Q.png) I commissioned them for I was not happy with as it didn't seem to reflect the quality I expected from this artist. Instead of a refund for my displeasure they gave me a discount on another portrait done in their smooth style, which I was satisfied with at first. After some time I had looked at the port they had discounted and noticed a mistake with my characters markings. (She should have eye streaks as seen here: http://i.imgur.com/9plT8.png ; The portrait instead had the streak on the muzzle: http://i.imgur.com/LtMAI.png). So naturally I whispered them and politely asked if David/Zil would fix the mistake, refund my money or compensate me in some way. I was met with refusal to do any of the above and an uncalled for attitude. Afterward I was discussing my options with some friends in a dream for outside opinions on how to settle this, and one of the options I was given was to come here to FAM. David/Zil was being terribly abrasive and short-tempered with me and during the discussion I figured that at the rate things were going, it would just be best to paraphrase the conversation and this is what I can say happened: I was told that they did not save the original, and that no corrections would be made or further negotiations when I started asking what could be done. I held my patience and tried to work some form of correction in any case regardless of them throwing their arms up in the air at the word 'refund' I tried hard not to resort to posting here and have come here to advise others about this artists particular attitude and my displeasure of working with them.
