Typically an alt trade is conducted in-game, by communicating with your trader.
When you want to give someone your alt, you have to give them the password to it, and to receive payment for the alt you're trading, you'll need another character to put it on.
Depending on how you want to go about it, you can give the character first, or wait until the initial payment is given.

If you're still confused on how to actually give someone the character, I'll explain it a little more in detail.
When someone gets the password to the character (be sure to change it's email first)
They go to http://www.furcadia.com/services/retrieve/retrieve.php4
And they put in the character's name and password there, and download the INI file then move the INI into their default Furcadia character folder, and that's pretty much it.

So you`d put it under a new email then trade, huh?

Well, its something you do so the person you're trading the alt to changes it, so they don't lose it.
They HAVE to confirm the character on their new e-mail so they can use it.

Of course they can choose to not change it, and that is not a safe thing to do, ever.

Read the board descriptions.

http://altmarket.net/index.php?board=33.0

You can also list them on your profile.

Go to your profile and click the link (it will be a number ) next to "owned alts."

I'm only mean out of necessity.
