Ok just did a trade with someone, they gave me one gd in exchange for the password of Stardom.
I sent them the password and they said it didn't work, it worked for me so I then changed it again and told them the new one and they said neither of the passwords worked but they did called me a scammer and logged off.

Does this happen often?

Was the password less than 5 characters long? When creating a new character on furcadia you can't use 5 or less, despite being able to make one 5 or less in the password changer.

If that's not the case, did you use any capital letters? They may not have typed it in correctly.

There was nothing wrong with the password cause I whispered them the first one, they insisted it didn't work but it did, I changed it again and they said neither of them worked, but they both did.
The passwords were both 6+ letters long and I've left it set as the last password I sent them.
The character was an old one which had a password with more than 5 characters, I dunno they were probably just mucking around.

Ignore them; this happens a LOT to me.
I just go 'LOL, did you type it in right?'
They either log off or admit they were wrong.
If they felt they were really scammed they would have reported you, demanded their GD back or both.
Trust me, they're just trying to get both the alt and the GD.
