Avatar and Signature Guidelines
  • All avatars and signatures must be appropriate and tasteful. This includes but is not limited to overly gory, racist, and of sexual nature.
    a.   FAM staff members have the final say in determining the appropriateness of the avatars and signatures. Not sure if it fits into our standards? Send it to a staff member and we will approve or reject your suggestion.
    b.   Anyone found in violation of these guidelines will be given a warning and risks suspension depending on the severity of the image and/or text.
  • Avatars are automatically resized to be no larger than 100x100 pixels.
  • Signatures are to be no larger than 200x500 pixels.
    a.   If your signature is found to be exceeding the allowed size, it will be removed. Continued use of a signature that is too large will risk signatures being disabled or account suspension.
    b.     This includes multiple images forming a single signature. Those images MUST fit in the given dimensions or it will be removed.
            i.     Adoptables are no exception to this.

These rules are from the standards that Zim has already explained in the following post:
Keep all avatars and signatures appropriate and tasteful. This includes but is not limited to overly gory, racist and of a sexual nature. FAM staff has the the final say in determining the appropriateness of the avatars and signatures. People in violation of this will be given a warning and possibly a suspension, depending on the severity of the image / text.

If you're unclear about whether an avatar or signature is appropriate, ask a staff member.

Avatars are to be no larger than 100 x 100 pixels.

Signatures are to be no larger than 200 x 500 pixels.

Anything larger or in violation of the content rules will warrant a warning. Repeat offenses will result in signatures or avatars being disabled.

Any questions or concerns can be directed to any of the staff members.

Remember: If your signature or avatar is replaced by one of these images, it means it was over the limit in either height, width or both! It counts and serves as a warning, as mentioned above. This also goes for content of the signature / avatar.

FAM does NOT AUTOMATICALLY RESIZE SIGNATURES so making sure they follow the size guidelines are your responsibility!

The rules have been clarified to outline that adoptables MUST fit within the dimensions. This means all the ones you have, not 200x500 per adoptable.

I'm only mean out of necessity.
