Who is Stealing all these alts? >.<

I haven't been on furcadia in ages. But eariler this year my friends Hojo, and Grimmy had bought an alt for me as a gift. Nanaki. There is two portraits on him, as well as a life lion. I was able to log on to him last month, but today, I got the message of doom:   "Incorrect password or username".

I didn't change the password. I looked on my ini files, and it was all the same. I went to the password change and tried to change it, but an email never came to the address. I have one email address for all my ported alts. And I looked on that list, and he's not on it. Great.

Well no beekins are on, so I sent an email to the guardians. But in the mean time, if you see Nanaki wandering around chew them up, because this isn't cool. I had a lot of money towards that alt in lifers, and ports. D:

Actually, I'd recommend NOT chewing the person out, since things happen and alts can get passed to players who have genuinely done nothing wrong.

Trust me I've been playing furc long enough to know all that good stuff. xD

The only thing that was news to me is: Your characters may have been compromised 

I hope it wasn't a part of all that crap. No one else knew the pw or any of my pw's for that matter, and the character was definitely set to my email. I haven't been too active on furc lately at all so honestly it was a surprise to me that this even happened. I haven't been on to tell anyone my pw! And with a lifer and two ports, I am sure he didn't expire... ugh...

did you change the email+password when you were originally gifted the alt?

If you got any password request emails, did you click the links in them?

I think I figured out what happened. So this has been resolved. So if you see Nanaki on it should be me or Hojo. So no spamming.
