FAM and FAZ since switching to SMF have always had pretty basic blue themes. I'd really like to spruce up the sites by finding a unique theme for each site. What I'd like to know from you the community is what you'd like to see for the site? Do you want a color change? Do you want me to redo the site header? How would you like the site to look?

So, I'm asking you to give me some ideas as to how I can change things up. Once a new theme is found, I'd really like to find an artist or two who can work with me to get new logos and icons throughout the site.

I realize no one out there probably has experiencing skinning a whole SMF site (but if you do and are willing to work on this, let's talk) so I'm here are a few links for you to look at themes and link me to what you like:

The server that both FAM and FAZ are hosted on is scheduled to have downtime on the following date and time:

DATE: Jan 30th, 2010 @ 1:00am (EDT)
MAINTENANCE WINDOW: 01/30/2010 @ 1:00am (EDT) - 01/30/2010 @ 4:00am (EDT)
EXPECTED DURATION: 1 - 3 hours

The purpose of the maintenance is to investigate the recent downtime that we have been experiencing on the server and to perform preventative procedures to help alleviate problems in the future. I apologize in advance for this inconvenience.

You asked for it, you got it.

FAM now has an opt-in alt rating system. All alts currently in the database are excluded from being rated by default. However, you can edit your alt to add it to the rating fun!

Added into the navigation is the ability to view the 'top rated' alts (which gives you a list of all alts opted-in to rating sorted by highest rating). There is also a rate and random alt feature which will pull a random alt for rating from the database.
