It has come to our attention that recently people selling alts, digos, and other items are requiring potential buyers to pay extra to pay for the service fee when doing a transaction with PayPal.

(While we at FAM don't demand you to not gift payments, please be aware that gifting makes it difficult to have money returned if there is a dispute on PayPal from either side and you lose the security of a 'paper trail' that assists in these cases. We strongly advise to not use the gift option on PayPal to prevent potential loss.)

Paypal Charges
a.     It is not only poor business practice, but against Paypal's ToS to charge extra to cover their service fee.
     i.     If you are caught doing it, you will be warned. If you continue to do it, you will be at risk for suspension and reporting to Paypal to have your account closed.

It is against the Terms of Service agreement you agree to when signing up to PayPal to require users to pay extra for transfer fees. This has been a rule at FAM for a very long time too, and we expect users to have read the rules to use this website.

We are giving users a week to change their threads requiring buyers to pay extra, then warnings and suspensions will be handed out as necessary.


Please understand we are enforcing this rule because it is a rule from PayPal's ToS, not because we're a bunch of big meanies!

• Use the PayPal form on our website to purchase the number of tickets you want! Include your Furcadia Name so we know who to apply the tickets to.
  

You will receive an e-mail within 24 hours with your ticket numbers. Ticket numbers are distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis.
